Mike and Tamar's wedding was just featured over on Ruffled! Be sure to check out both of the posts here and here. Now I know many of you might be asking "Joel where are these photos on your blog???" Answer is that I have it as a new post on our new site which I am oh so close to launching. I will have all of the vendors listed on the post but for now I want to be sure to throw out a big thanks to Emily and Lauren of Downey Street Events for the amazing job they did with the day of planning for this wedding. They went out of their way to make this an amazing wedding. And last but not least, Mike and Tamar, YOU ROCK! Be sure to check back here in the next day or so for the launch. I LOVE MY ING'S

Last month we got a way for a couple of days in the middle of the week to spend some time with friends at a beach house in Avila Bay on the amazing Central Coast. Having spent 5 years going to college down there it is definitely a home away from home for me. On this trip we took Ingrid to the beach for the first time and she LOVED it, especially the sand. Enjoy these pics and I promise that the new site is not too far away. I just haven't had time with all of the editing that I have to gather the final images for the site. One more thing, we have a few more open days before the end of the year if you were wanting family or engagement pics so be sure to email me if you are interested.

Jenn and Brian flew in from Chicago and eloped at San Francisco City Hall in a beautiful and intimate ceremony. I had such a great time taking these pics and I was even the witness for the marriage license which was a first for me! Following the ceremony I took them around the city to some of my favorite locations taking pictures at Blue Bottle Coffee and outside the Presidio among other locations. Also, I have to give a big thank you to Mary Lois of Loop Flowers who we called the day of and she put together an absolutely stunning bouquet and boutonnière. Thank you so much Jenn and Brian for having me shoot your wedding!

So I just got back and I am downloading and backing up today's wedding but I thought I would share just a few pics from today's wedding as it was a beautiful one at Nestldown. Sarah was stunning in both outfits and the flowers by Lani Elizabeth were exquisite. It was great to work with Liz of San Jose Wedding Consultants and Paul of Big Fun Disc Jockeys. FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSIONS

With the holiday's quickly approaching now is the time to book a family portrait session. I can't believe I just wrote that sentence but it's true! I already saw my first Christmas commercial! But really, can you think of a better present then time together for the shoot, and prints to cherish for years to come. I didn't think so. But just in case you need further convincing, book by next friday (October 16th) and receive 15% off all prints you order between now and the end of the year. Now let's get back to enjoying fall shall we...

ADRIENNE & JAKE'S WEDDING

We shot such an amazing wedding this summer at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Adrienne, the bride, was also the wedding planner for her big day. She did a knock-out job on crafting the vision for her wedding, and executing it to a T. We kept telling her all day, "You should TOTALLY do this for a living! You are GREAT at it." Check out all of the amazing details that her and her mom put together! I also have to mention the flowers done by Chestnut & Vine in Berkeley and the delicious cupcakes by La Farine Bakery in Oakland. Seriously, I know there are a ton of pics in this post but I just had to share them all with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your big day Adrienne and Jake!

PPS. Katie Powers officially rocks our socks off. Her food is so scrumptious I can hardly stand it. She is the exclusive caterer for the Headlands Center, so in order to taste her yummy food you're going to have to either A. book your wedding there or B. become friends with someone who is getting married there. But seriously, it is SO worth it.
