Mike and Tamar's wedding was just featured over on Ruffled! Be sure to check out both of the posts here and here. Now I know many of you might be asking "Joel where are these photos on your blog???" Answer is that I have it as a new post on our new site which I am oh so close to launching. I will have all of the vendors listed on the post but for now I want to be sure to throw out a big thanks to Emily and Lauren of Downey Street Events for the amazing job they did with the day of planning for this wedding. They went out of their way to make this an amazing wedding. And last but not least, Mike and Tamar, YOU ROCK! Be sure to check back here in the next day or so for the launch. I wanted to share our new promo video with you that showcases a sneak peek of our new look and new name! Thanks so much to Ben Potter of Cana Video Productions for shooting this. So this morning while reading one of my favorite wedding blogs, The Ritzy Bee Blog, I noticed that under her post of details that she is loving she mentions the paper pom poms from Adrienne and Jake's wedding. Adrienne and Jake's amazing wedding that I posted yesterday was just featured on Snippet and Ink's blog. I am so excited to finally announce our new album company that we are working with. Kim and Emma from Good Stock are absolutely amazing and they create the most stunning custom wedding albums (along with many other great family heirloom books). We just received our first sample from them of Kevin and Loralie's wedding and it is so clean and modern yet the beauty of them is that they can work with you to create an album that is exactly your style. For all of our clients out there let me know if you want to set up a time to see the new sample and for all of the photographers out there, I highly recommend contacting them to design albums for your clients. Also, be sure to check out their site as they offer great services for putting together all of your photos of your kids or doing a custom book to honor a loved one. Julie and Matt's wedding was featured on Brooklyn Bride today. You can view the post here. Julie wrote a great story about how they met and details of the day so you have to head over there to read it. Again I want to give a special shout out to Jon of Encarnacion Photography and Curtis and Travis from Curtis Nemetz Productions as these guys helped me out a ton and I thoroughly loved working with them. If you haven't viewed their video yet, check out the original blog post and scroll to the bottom, I promise you won't be deisappointed. Also, that ring shot with the sushi that everyone loves...that was Jon! Anyways, we are in Cabo for a wedding this weekend and then off next week to Seattle to do a photo shoot for a clothing company. I will be sure to post photos of both along with some amazing recent engagement, family and portraits sessions. Be sure to check back!

This summer we are shooting the wedding of the lead singer from Mobius Band and I have become huge fans of their work. Anyways, they have a free valentines day ep that you can download here and I highly recommend that you do so. I mean where else are you going to hear some great covers of Kanye, the Dixie Chicks and Tom Petty?

The great people over at San Francisco Brides just let me know that they are going to be putting on "An Evening of Bridal Luxury" that is going to include a cocktail party and an exclusive fashion show from Vera Wang featuring her 2009 Bridal Collection. The event will take place February 25th at the Bentley Reserve and proceeds from the event to benefit the California Pacific Medical Center Junior Committee.
